Raymond Felton Jeopardizes NBA Career - Stupid Mistake

Knicks point guard Raymond Felton is arraigned on felony gun charges Tuesday.
Point guard Raymond Felton was recently released on Tuesday night out on bail of $25,000.00, after being charged with 2 felony weapons possession charges after his wife's lawyer reportedly turned in a loaded handgun to the Manhattan police department.  With so many rumors about what actually happened and where Felton's future with the New York Knicks is headed, the important point to focus on here is that a NY judge has granted Felton permission to travel and play with his team and he will have a court date on June 2nd of this year to deal with the case at hand. Oh, and let's not forget that he actually got arrested for weapon possession!

If you recall another Nba player an actual Nba all-star Gilbert Arenas was arrested back in January of 2010 for a gun situation, that in the end resulted in him being let go by the Washington Wizards. After that Arenas bounced around the league a little with that situation lingering over his head and then winded up playing overseas in China. Arenas is currently playing for the Shanghai Nights, and let's not forget the other player in that Arenas altercation Javaris Crittenton who is now awaiting trial for an alleged murder and drug charges from Atlanta.
Raymond Felton doesn’t take questions from reporters Wednesday, opting to read from a statement for his first public comments following his felony gun arrest.

Even though the Arenas situation was stemmed by an alleged argument over an unpaid gambling debt and  Raymond Felton's situation is rumored to have stemmed from a domestic dispute of some kind both situations involved guns and well known guards in the Nba.  At the end of the day the New York Knicks will have to rally around their starting point guard (Felton) in order to try to pull some type of run in order to make it to the nba  playoffs

Below is a video of Raymond Felton sitting down with reporters to answer questions this week and dodging the questions in regards to his arrest. With so many athletes getting themselves into legal trouble right now every professional athlete needs to understand one thing, they need to rally think about their actions and how they react to situations before they themselves end up in hot water.
