LOL – YO…this one is kinda funny. The world celebrated when Kendrick Lamar hit the cover of ESPN magazine. Well,Nicki Minaj and Kobe Bryant are on the other one. Which would be another moment to celebrate, has turned into a nightmare of sorts.Nicki Minajis not pleased with the cover, and her forehead is upset as well.
See below why.
Why’d they do that? That’s like security at the club. Sometimes they just do too much.
So, maybe she ain’t PISSED as much as she’s….got commentary.
RapperRick Ross reportedly has bought the Fayette County estate previously owned by boxing champ Evander Holyfield.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Former heavyweight boxing champ Evander Holyfield once said his Fayette County compound cost $1 million a year in upkeep.
Now,
those bills will belong to someone else. Rapper Rick Ross reportedly
has bought the 235-acre estate previously owned by Holyfield, who lost
the property in 2012 due to foreclosure.
The mansion was scheduled
for the auction block in November, but the official sale price hasn’t
been disclosed. But last week, one of the rappers on Ross’ music label
posted a picture on Instagram of the compound’s apparent new owner.
“New crib is unreal,” fellow rapperMeek Mill posted,
effectively announcing the sale. There’s a picture of Rick Ross, whose real
name is William Roberts II, at the top of a grandiose staircase.
The
“crib” is beyond unreal compared to the average home. With 109 rooms,
the mansion has a dining room big enough to seat 100, a bowling alley, a
135-seat movie theater, an Olympic-size pool and a baseball field.
There’s also a separate 4,000-square-foot home on the property.

Richard Sherman wondered if he came to the NFL 20 years too late.
The Seattle Seahawks' All-Pro cornerback wondered if his swagger might
have fit better a few decades earlier when that confidence and an
unfiltered tongue was perhaps more accepted.
"I studied the old school game more than I studied the new school game,
and I play it that way. It rubs a lot of people the wrong way," Sherman
said Wednesday. "Giving a true speech after a game, a true passionate
speech is old school football. Playing press corner and sitting up there
every play is old school football. I guess maybe I just haven't
adjusted to the times."
Richard Sherman spoke at length for the first time since Sunday's NFC
championship game win over San Francisco where his postgame comments to
Fox reporter Erin Andrews became the talking point. It was a loud,
emotional moment that happened just a few minutes after the Seattle Seahawks
earned the second Super Bowl berth in franchise history.
Richard Sherman was at the center of the decisive play, deflecting a pass
intended for Michael Crabtree in the end zone and watching teammate
Malcolm Smith run over to intercept it to clinch the victory. Sherman's
ensuing remarks were directed mostly at Crabtree but his intense,
shouting delivery is what took people aback.
Richard Sherman said the reaction that followed over the next two days left him a little stunned as well.
"I was surprised by it. Because we're talking about football here and a
lot of people took it a little bit further than football." Sherman said.
"I guess some people showed how far we have really come in this day and
age and it was kind of profound what happened and people's opinions of
that nature, because I was on a football field showing passion. Maybe it
was misdirected, maybe things may have been immature, maybe things
could have been worded better but this is on a football field. I didn't
commit any crimes, I wasn't doing anything illegal. I was showing
passion after a football game."
Richard Sherman apologized for taking away the spotlight from the performances
by some of his teammates. Marshawn Lynch's 109 yards rushing and 40-yard
touchdown, Jermaine Kearse's 35-yard touchdown catch on fourth-down and
Bobby Wagner's 15 tackles all became secondary to Sherman's words.
What seemed to bother Richard Sherman the most in the fallout was hearing the word "thug" attached to his name.
"The only reason it bothers me is it seems like it's an accepted way of
calling someone the N-word nowadays. It's like everybody else said the
N-word and they said thug and they're like, 'that's fine,'" Sherman
said. "That's where it kind of takes me aback. It's kind of
disappointing because they know. What is the definition of a thug,
really?"
Richard Sherman then referenced seeing highlights of the Vancouver Canucks and
Calgary Flames playing on Saturday when a fight broke out two seconds
into the game.
"They didn't even play hockey. They just threw their sticks aside and
started fighting," he said. "I saw that and said, 'Oh, man, I'm the
thug? What's going on here. Geez.' I'm really disappointed in being
called a thug."
While there's been criticism for his rant, he's also received support.
Perhaps most surprising was a tweet from baseball Hall of Famer Hank
Aaron. Not a huge user of social media — Aaron had sent seven tweets
before Tuesday — his message to Sherman read, "hang in there & keep
playing as well as you did Sunday. Excellent job - you have my support."
Justin Bieber was seen driving away from a nightclub with Chantel Jeffries late Wednesday night. (PacificCoastNews)
Justin Bieber may top his terrible 2013 with an even worse 2014.
The "Boyfriend" singer was arrested early Thursday morning in Miami Beach, according to police.
#BreakingNews confirming justinbieber has been arrested for DUI & Drag Racing more info & press release coming.
— Miami Beach Police (@MiamiBeachPD) January 23, 2014 "The Insider" has learned that the 19-year-old Justin bieber was driving a rented
Lamborghini when he was pulled over at 4:09 a.m. for drag racing. He had
a female passenger in his car — and, while police didn't identify her,
it was likely model Chantel Jeffries, whom he was seen with earlier in
the night. When police performed a field sobriety test, he failed and
was then arrested for DUI. During a press conference on Thursday, a police spokesperson told the
media that justin Bieber admitted to officers that he had been drinking,
smoking pot, and had taken prescription medication prior to his arrest.
The
police rep added that Justin Bieber was "belligerent" when police stopped him
for driving 55 to 60 in a 30 mile per hour zone, using several choice
words. He also did not have a valid driver's license.
A second arrest was also made. Singer Khalil (full name Khalil Amir
Sharieff), who was driving another car, was also booked for DUI.

Mug shots for both Bieber and Khalil will be available after they are
processed at Miami-Dade County Corrections, according to police.
Local news anchor Jason Martinez, who works for ABC Miami, posted a

traffic stop:

Justin Bieber with his father on Tuesday.
The
Canadian crooner arrived in the popular coastal resort city earlier
this week after a ski trip with his pals. There have been many sightings
of him in local spots, including at a strip club, where he reportedly
dropped big bucks, and a skate shop. He also hit the beach with his
father and Khalil.
He's been posting his own photos on Instagram, including some that he said were taken at Lil Wayne's private skateboarding park and others showing him tagging.
According to NBC Miami, there has already been drama related to his
brief Miami trip. The Opa-locka police department has also said it is investigating
an officer who allegedly gave Bieber and his crew an unauthorized
escort through traffic after they landed at the Opa-locka airport.
This isn't Justin Bieber's first run-in
with police this year. Earlier this month, one of his Calabasas,
California, neighbors accused him of throwing eggs at his home, causing
more than $20,000 in damages. Police officers then searched Justin Bieber's
home for evidence in the egg assault and ended up arresting his friend
Lil Za on drug charges.
Reps for Justin Bieber have not yet responded to Yahoo's request for comment.
Well, Drake should know better. You can’t “sample” no old school
rapper and not give him a shout out. Well, Rappin 4 Tay says that Drake
took bits and pieces of his hit song and didn’t pay homage.
Rappin 4 Tay dropped a
classic jam in the mid-90′s called “Playaz Club” and that is the song
that people most associate with him. So, its understandable why he would
feel this way and yet, I’m not sure how important this is in the grand
scheme of things. Anyway, the Bay seems to hate Drake in general.
Check out how it breaks down.

Former drug kingpin Freeway
Ricky Ross lost his lawsuit against rapper Rick Ross (born William
Leonard Roberts) on First Amendment grounds. The case originally began
in 2010 and later appealed to a higher court after the lawsuit was
ruled to be “untimely” since the real Ross knew about the entertainer’s
stage name since 2006.
After first acknowledging that he did not necessarily agree with the
reasoning behind the original decision in the case, California appeals
court judge Roger Boren once again sided with Roberts. Judge Boren
stated that while the rapper’s stage persona and career were influenced
by Ross, they are not the “very sum and substance of Roberts’ work.”
The ruling also affirmed Roberts’ constitutional right to free speech and free expression:
He was not simply an impostor seeking to profit solely
off the name and reputation of Rick Ross. Rather, he made music out of
fictional tales of dealing drugs and other exploits –some of which
related to plaintiff. Using the name and certain details of an infamous
criminal’s life as basic elements, he created original artistic works.
Rick Ross is back and focused now harder then ever on his success guys.

Jadeveon Clowney's answers were simple and straightforward.
After
South Carolina defeated Wisconsin 34-24 in the Capital One Bowl, Jadaveon Clowney talked about how much fun he's had in his three years at South
Carolina.
When ESPN reporter Tom Luginbill asked if that meant that 2013
was his last year in a South Carolina uniform and if he was declaring
for the NFL draft, Clowney answered both with "Yes sir."
The junior had a disappointing season by the lofty expectations that were set for him a year ago when he leveled Michigan running backVincent Smith, but is widely expected to be a top pick in May's draft. (And he's also gotten a couple of speeding tickets.)
Wisconsin
had its chances to come back against South Carolina on Wednesday, but
was doomed by three turnovers in the final five minutes of the game. The
final turnover came with just over a minute left when running back
Melvin Gordon couldn't handle a lateral back from Jared Abbrederis after a quick pass from Curt Phillips.
Phillips was in the game for starter Joel Stave
who left the game because of a shoulder injury. Before the fumbled
pitch, the other two late Wisconsin turnovers were consecutive Phillips
interceptions. Immediately following the first, South Carolina fumbled
the ball back to Wisconsin.
South Carolina senior quarterback Connor Shaw was also playing his final game in a Gamecocks uniform and he hooked up with Bruce Ellington
for three touchdowns. Two of them were from Shaw to Ellington and the
middle touchdown was a nine-yard pass from Ellington to Shaw.
Shaw
also scored a fourth touchdown on a one-yard run that extended South
Carolina's lead to the final margin. Before his run, Wisconsin's Kenzel
Doe had made it a three-point game with less than 11 minutes to go with a
91-yard kickoff return that included this stiff-arm.
South Carolina finishes the season at 11-2 while Wisconsin ends it 9-4.

Lovie Smith is getting a much deserved second chance to coach a NFL team, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are giving him a shot. Lovie Smith will be hired by Tampa Bay and the two sides are finalizing a contract on Wednesday night, Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported. Tampa Bay fired Greg Schiano on Monday and wasted very little time in hiring Lovie Smith, the former coach of the Bears.
Although Smith put up a 81-63 overall record with the Bears,
including one NFC championship, he was also known for being fairly
conservative. He was curiously fired after a 10-6 season in 2012 and sat
out last year.
The Tampa Bay job is a pretty good one. The Buccaneers have a lot of
talent in place, but were miserably coached by Schiano and went 4-12.
Many of Tampa Bay's best players are on defense, such as cornerback
Darrelle Revis, tackle Gerald McCoy and linebacker Lavonte David, and
Smith came up in the NFL as a well-respected defensive assistant. He
should have the Buccaneers' defense among the best in the league next
year. With another year of positive development from quarterback Mike
Glennon, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Buccaneers in the playoff
hunt in 2014. Lovie Smith went to the playoffs three times in nine seasons
with Chicago.
One reason Tampa Bay acted so
quickly to hire Smith is he would have been a coveted candidate by the
other five teams with an opening. Smith interviewed with the Texans, who
hired Penn State's Bill O'Brien, and every team with an opening was
rumored to be interested.
Lovie Smith is off the market now, and it looks like a good fit for him in Tampa Bay.
CRAZYYYY! I agree if I may say so myself guys. Do you want to see coach Lovie Smith down in Tampa Florida next season? Don't worry if you don't have the extra cash to take a trip down to the beautiful orange state, I've got you covered.
